[ILUG-BOM] 16 bit IDE access

Trevor Warren writes,
      This months edition of PCQ mentions that by default Linux uses a 16 bit
data EIDE access.  Though this provides fantastic speeds , taking
this to 32 bit will help . Thats what PCQ says.
        Is this really gonna speed things up ??
