Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)

I put hdparm -c1 -d1 /dev/ hda in my startup script and my hard disk
speed increased from 3 MBps to 17.9 Mbps

The hard is an IBM 7200 RPM and the motherboard is ASUS.
