what u say is absolutely true & in the times to come Computing in LINUX
especially for the desktop will be a paradigm shift in Desktop computing . But
all said & done I would never like my LINUX box to be pruned into some DESKTOP
m/c without the RAW POWER & the mean m/c that it was really meant to be.
IF LINUX makes it big on the Desktop market, i guess it will
really continue making me proud to be part of the movement. And if it doesn't
make it , I will still be proud ot be part of this movement .
Be it LINUX on the desktop or "tabletop" as SAMEER puts it,
the Power packed distros still give me the adrenalin rush when i need it. Just
like the PIZZAS with the ANCHOVIES & ALL.
