Dear All,
Yesterday When I booted in Linux (RHL 6.2), I got an error that the file
system was not cleanly unmounted and it forced the check (although i
remember that I had switched off the PC properly before.)
Then I got an error that /proc does not exist.Unable to mount /proc.
Correct the problem using fsck.
So I ran fsck after logging in as root.It corrected lot of problems( I am
sorry..I can not elaborate on the correction messages much.)
Then I gave the reboot command..After starting It went on checking the
filesystem again giving the same error messages.
I am not able to find out what could be the reason for this..though I had
unmounted the file systems cleanly.
Reqesting your help on this.
