dear girisg,
for the proc file system you have to check whether the
/proc file system is listed under the /etc/fstab file
system if not exsisting then add the appropiate thing
their, as far as the fsck is concerned linux runs fsck
after every 20 reboots or after every six months which
ever is eralier.
