As for email, this is what sendmail's dialog reveals:

because I have set sendmail in linuxconf to present my system as
bom2.vsnl.net.in
Earlier I had the same thing but it was saying mail from:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] which no one was recognizing. What happened?
