Someone wants to ftp to linux from Windows
He cannot do that due to lack of knowledge
I help him by telling him how to do it
Is that not allowed?

Lets suppose he posts that in some Windows mailing list
Would they also not respond to him?
Where should he then post it to?

Linux mailing list is for people who are concerned with Linux
He was concerned with Linux

PS: Just my thoughts that I shared. No offense intended of any kind.
