I was online during the rollover. Rest assured that no planes crashed
because of electron emmissions over my serial line.
The question is: Is it the local Y2K time, or the GMT Y2K time that really
matters? Airlines, the military, and several international financial
institutions follow GMT. If that was the case, then the rollover happened
at about 5:30 this morning.
