Well, actually, it doesn't happen all the time. Which is the biggest
problem with vsnl problems. They are not reproducable. Right now, I am
using pine from vsnl, but there is no guarantee that if I disconnect and
reconnect, it will be the same.
When vsnl first started shell accounts, we could type pine at the rksh,
but now we can't. Obviously, because people could override administrator
settings using command line switches. But they could simply use a shell
script to disable that. It is far more convenient to type pine at the
shell when you're already there.
