I've managed to get the error message that comes on invoking pine to stay on
screen long enough to read it.
This is what it says:
Invoking pine utility
Who are you? (unable to lookup login file)
Any idea what this means? The fact that I am logged into vsnl means that my
login exists in the login file, so why this weird problem. I also have no
problem telnettin to the pop port. I figure it probably has to do with the
fact that pine cannot figure out which mailbox to use.
Any ideas? I have mailed vsnl, but they don't seem to be manning their helpdesk
anymore.
