Well for that you don't have to make any changes in the conf file.
My settings for cgi-bin are
/usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin/
The same for html docs is
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/
I have all my html pages in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/tour
All my CGI scripts are in /usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin/tour
Just give the proper paths in the form action=" "
It runs well....my intranet site address is
http://130.52.10.6/tour/index.html
You just create a folder mayuresh in /home/httpd/html/
It will look like this.
/home/httpd/html/mayuresh
Keep your cgi scripts in the current cgi-bin directory or else u can make a
folder in cgi-bin directory as well.
I hope this works for you.

Subject: [ILUG-BOM] Apache CGI Settings
Hello Everybody,
The following is the path for my cgi-bin directory.
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/
and my html directory is at /home/httpd/html/
My intranet server name is http://gurukul.ue.ltindia.com
What I need is a seperate directory like
http://gurukul.ue.ltindia.com/mayuresh which should be able to serve html as
well as execute CGIs from within itself.
What are the changes I'll have to do in my config files??
Awaiting your replies.
Bye.
