You don't want a GUI. You want a CLUE. Command Line User Environment. It's
better than the GUI, believe me.

I've use enlightenment, no problems yet. I don't use it much. People swear
by windowmaker, too. KDE is a desktop environment.

AFAIK, desktop environment=Windows shell and window manager=Windows theme.

Boggle. Win98 will crawl on that (or did you mean P600?). And watch out
