you mean linuxlings (might) have given names to their keyboards and
mouse? you guys are a peculiar lot.
I don't mind such off-topic things once in while. it helped me in
knowing a few things about our members. in most of the other mailing
lists, they treat their fellow list members like an online dictionary
popping questions and extracting answers. i feel that is inhuman.
for that matter, i personally found all those 100s of mails totally
rubbish (on venue finalisation, deductions, membership fee, spending on
mcdonalds, who is coming thru worli so as to pick somebody up) Those had
nothing to do with Linux.
still i did not mind them as people were happy writing them. that must
be serving some purpose for some group. hence i ignored them.
no. of mails on boxname have been very less, and had a human touch. i
liked them all. and i also liked (most of) the people who sent them.
