The new ones are free! Which new one is free? Netscape has just
gotten free. And IE will never be free. In this group, free has
a different meaning. If you're saying that the new browsers are
gratis, well... congrats! You just don't have to pay for being
exploited anymore! That's great! The world is changing, isn't
it?!!!

Yeah. The reading speed. Lynx reads faster than IE and Netscape.

download speed

lot of manuals

And who'll download the manager? Oh I forgot! It's free!
(free???)

Look, the whole point is that...
"You use ANY browser that suits your requirement, but as a Web
developer, make sure that /everyone/ gets to view your pages in
the best possible way his/her browser can afford."

I use IE5. Because it suits my requirements. But I hate it when
I have to give up viewing a site because I am using Lynx at that
time. Alright, I have IE5 (it's free!), but what about people
who don't have it? Should they be isolated?

Compatibility should be maintained when it's possible. In this
case, it is very much possible!
