Which of the above ports is connected to your computer? I looked at the
specs on APC/India website and it does not mention any port thru which a
computer can monitor for power outage.

As Arun points out , there is not interface what so ever on the APC Back-UPS
ES 500 . Could you please confirm that you are using the above mentioned
model .
