RJ45 in the UPS and USB in my comp ;) How long will it take for you to
understand that Indian websites SUCK. But it seems that my model is
similar to this:

http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=21

But it is NOT the same. I repeat, it is NOT the same. I had bought the
UPS a year and a half ago and APC prolly has changed their models. My
model clearly mentions Back UPS ES-500.

http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BE650Y%2DIN

The techspecs mention this:
>Communications & Management
>Interface Port(s) DB-9 RS-232,USB

Actually, my model is similar to their international version:
http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BE500U

May be APC launched a cut down version of that model before they
realized that it would turn out too expensive for them to put in the
software to monitor the UPS.

Francis, you have the model Back UPS ES-500Y IN (Indianized version) and
not Back UPS ES-500 which I have. That may be the problem...
