MTNL is a decent ISP. When things work they work well. I must agree. 
Also, I dug up an old post of mine, here. It seems Airtel was still 
"wiring" the area and hasn't found it lucrative enough to enter my 
buildings premises. Its been over 4 years. Is that pathetic or what?
