Now, if you frequently add and remove channels, the channel id list
can get quite messy. So I'm currently thinking to introduce a channel
numbering by index(position) in the gui (not by ID), where the first
index will be 1.  So, when you remove a channel in the middle, all
subsequent channels will be renumbered. And when you scroll channels,
you'll know exactly how many channels you scrolled :)
Any remarks about this? Christian?
