Jeff,

I just purchased the eee pc 1000 (1.6ghz atom 40gb ssd). I immediately
wanted to install ubuntu and gave easy peasy a try (formerly ubuntu-eee:
http://www.geteasypeasy.com/). Everything worked after install (wireless,
bluetooth, webcam, hotkeys...). It really lived up to its name.
