I'm a Creative cheerleader. I use a Creative X-fi 30gb now, previously i used the Zen Vision M 30 gb, and my first Mp3 player was the Creative Xtra 30gb. I had an iPod touch for a while and i didn't like the interface, big reason i didn't even consider an iphone. My brother has had various iPods i've used and the scroll wheel thing always just bugged me. As far as Linux support goes for the creatives, libnjb works great on linux and Mac for syncing for the older creative devices that were not mtp devices. Since the upgrade to mtp (the protocol all plays4sure devices use) libmtp was released and built into several Linux applications which make it a very straightforward and easy process to sync those devices. I have had no complaints over the years with the creative devices from either the OS standpoint or the player itself. I've also always found them to just sound worlds better than most other players I've tried out.
