I'm considering my first Apple. I know there are a bunch of apple users here and I'm hoping the discussion will be allowed.
I'm looking at a Mac Mini. The cheapest one, because it's just a first apple and I don't want to spend more than I need to. Anyone have a Mac Mini? Any issues? I'm also looking at the WiFi only iPad, since I can get 4G service from either Clear or Sprint. If you've got an iPad, then what do you use it for that you can't otherwise do? Anything about adding a physical kb would be nice, as well as issues with using it for weird ports, and for ssh: For example, can you get to: https://da5.namelessnet.net:2222 ssh da5.namelessnet.net ssh da5.namelessnet.net -p 1022 (note the weird port issue) And since I'm an utter newbie, would I be best served at an Apple retail store rather than a 'net order?
