Remember also that almost every business, charity, and government agency has an IT department. If they're not actively looking for an intern, you might be able to convince them that they need one. Suggestions: - Telephone company - City/County/Federal gov't (state is probably a waste of time this summer) - U of Redlands IT/helpdesk - La-Z-Boy seems to have a busy factory right now, they may need help - Southern California Edison - local construction firms (eg. Larry Jacinto) - contractors handling Caltrans construction - Google has an office in Santa Monica - Microsoft has a few offices in SoCal - LAWA (regional airport authroity) - long shot, but Hangar 24 might be in need of some computer help Dave Riesz _______________________________________________ LinuxUsers mailing list LinuxUsers@socallinux.org http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers
