Hello, Check out Google Summer of Code http://code.google.com/soc/ . Participate in open source software and get paid for it over the summer! I hear the competition is tough, but worth a try to just draw up a proposal and submit it.

I'm a rising Senior at the University of Redlands, and I need a summer job. I've applied at various places, but it's been pretty sparse when it comes to local programming jobs. Does anyone on the list know of a tech company that might be hiring? Not that I'm straight-up asking for someone to give me a job, but pointing to a local company that's accepting applications would certainly be nice. My school basically ignores the computer people, so the career services office doesn't track any companies of that sort. Thanks, hope to hear from some of you! -- Mark Holmquist Student, Computer Science University of Redlands marktrac...@gmail.com _______________________________________________ LinuxUsers mailing list LinuxUsers@socallinux.org http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers
