Hugh,

I think that may TOTALLY explain it. So I have been thinking that the
problem was on the linux side. I will test with some an older printers.

So if that is the problem, then do I need to tell the people who created
the PDF to create a UFR not a PCL compatible file? What instructions
would I give them?

If you wanted to test the document, go to www.bettsmetalbuildings.com
and download the New Metal Building Pricing brochure on the home page.

thanks very much
Ann
