Could also try pdf2ps or pdftops to convert the file to post script and try printing the ps file.

I just tested it. OpenSuse KDE, newest version. It wouldn't open up in my Firefox browser (latest version) at all; gave me black browser window. When I clicked on black browser window I got a white browser window. Still nothing. Most .pdf files work when I do it this way, using the Adobe Reader plugin; some don't. I browsed to my Downloads directory, got it with wget, started Adobe Reader, entered the file name; it came up in reader without a problem. Clicked to print. All three pages printed fine with my HP OfficeJet Pro, L7680.
