I disagree completely. Where you are from makes no difference on what distro you use. I am from the US and use Mandriva. Alot of the US uses *ubuntu variants.
Here is the deal. Asking what distro to use is like asking what car to drive. You will never know which one you like unless you try them out yourself. Use distrowatch.com, download the top 10 distros, and go from there. Opinions are just that, opinions. You need to make your own from experience. Jeremiah E.
