Well, I believe I have a v2.something, I'll have to double check,
because I did read that neither of those worked on the newer versions.
I don't need to go into great depth, I just want to not have to
"factory default" all my settings and have to set it all up again once
a month or so... And it keeps re-enabling the wireless and seeing
computers that are not in my apartment (knowing most of the people
around me, I'm not worried about malicious intent, I just don't like
getting warnings saying "do you want computer Betty-1 to be able to
access your shared and public media folders" or whatever... Who is
Betty-1???)
That and prioritize my gaming and web surfing over my downloading when
I'm doing both, as I normally just have downloads running on the other
system behind me while I do whatever else on my main system... And
eventually will do all my downloading on my server if I ever get it
built...
I might tinker around with the firmware change this weekend, thanks!
