Ok so I reinstalled Ubuntu from the 32 bit version to the 64 bit
version and like the 32 bit version it worked at the start untill I
upated the system via the system updater. Stome how through this
process the sound settings get messed up.  The way I fixed it was I
used the command alsamixer and then turned up I think it was the PCC
or something and bam fix!! every thing works except for my itouch,  I
installed wine so i could play Counter strike source so i will
probably just install itunes through that untill some one creates a
easier way because i would like to stay away from windows and any
windows emulators.  I am sick of WINDOWS!  Thanks for the info you all
posted.
