This is a bit confusing, though I looked at your pastebin and it seems
your system has gained an extra GPU since you were last running Lenny?
Your second conf shows a dual head setup that Xorg -configure has detect
for you. Have you tried removing your confs all together and restarting
GDM?

Out of desperation did you try putting vesa in your conf instead of intel?
