check your selinux and firewall status.

for selinux /etc/sysconfig/selinux
selinux should be disable

and for firewall ...
flush the firewall rules. 
and then try to restart the nfs and portmap service. It will work.

      I don't think you should have a "/" before the

server name. Also check for your portmap status.  Shut the firewall

down and then try if you have to.

Hi all,



I have succesfully configured nfs opend port 2049,111,32771( udp and tcp)



But when i going to hit following command,



#showmount -e



error : RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed out



and try to mount as follow,



#mount -t /server:/folder /mnt



error:



mount: mount to NFS server failed: timed out (retrying).



I googled a lot but not any output,



SO anybody having some idea, please let me know.....
