OK.  It sounds like you have the touchscreen controlled by "wacom"
module (the TABLET_USB_WACOM you mentioned.  Does your dmesg say "USB
Wacom tablet driver"?).  That means you do not need the inputattach.

This driver splits touch and pen of Tablet PC's between two input
devices and is similar to the Bamboo USB Pen&Touch devices.

New in at least 2.6.39-rc2, there is logic added to tablet PC kernel
part of that driver to mask touch events while pen/eraser is in
proximity.

If its not doing that then verify your kernel version and if thats OK
then it will require some debugging.  Ping wrote this newish logic and
probably won't be able to debug further for a few weeks.
