As told in http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/newwacom i added the following in my udev rules : KERNEL="event*", SYSFS{idVendor}="056a", NAME="input/%k", SYMLINK="input/wacom%e" (using Ubuntu Dapper with 2.6.15-23 kernel) ..nd no link shows up ! As my tablet keeps hesitating between /dev/input/event3 and /dev/input/event4 , it's a bit troublesome to configure it without the link..
