Not so good news from me I'm afraid. After compiling and installing as I normally do when I try to start xorg I get a crash and the logs says;
(II) LoadModule: "wacom"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input/wacom_drv.o
(EE) LoadModule: Module wacom does not have a wacomModuleData data object.
(II) UnloadModule: "wacom"
(II) Unloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input/wacom_drv.o
Symbol __glXgetActiveScreen from module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdri.a is unresolved!

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting
(Kernel 2.6.15, Kubuntu 5.10)
The issue seems to be the wacom_drv.o precompiled module as if I use the one from 0.7.3-1 package it works. (and if I use the 0.7.4-3 one with tje 0.7.4-2 or less code it still crashes with the same error)
