and the tablet acts as a usb mouse if I use the latest prebuilt x modules. (On the 64bit ubuntu 5.10 machines it seems ok as well, we haven't started testing ubuntu 6.06 64bit yet.) I'm not so fussed on it right now though as I can keep people on 0.7.3-1 until we get everybody onto ubuntu 6.06 as I've found a work around for the issue we had with 0.7.3-1. - If a user put the pen on the tablet so both the nib and the eraser touched it at the same time parts of kde would crash (kicker, kdestop and a few other things.) I thought it was a driver issue but I've found that another admin at my work changed the stylus identifier from 'stylus' to 'wacom' in the xorg.conf in the standard image without telling me. I don't understand why but now I've put it back to 'stylus' kde no longer crashes when it gets a nib and eraser event at the same time. So my work's computers are up and running even though I have no clue why changing the identifier string would upset kde so much.. I'd love to hear any suggestions as to what may be causing it as I'm really puzzled.
