Hello,
So, I've got a FC3 machine ( kernel version: 2.6.12-1.1381_FC3smp )
and i've followed the official HOWTO a few times now and the results
have actually gotten worse! I am trying to set it up to use a Wacom
Intuos 2 USB tablet ( i know, they're old ).
Your tablet is fine.
The first time around, the tablet was more or less working - it
recognized the pen, could move around the screen, click etc. The only
thing that didn't work was pressure sensitivity, which is
unfortunately the only thing that is absolutely required in this
instance. In this case, the tablet was showing in /dev/input as
event2 ( using: xxd /dev/input/event2 yielded a flurry of activity
were i to move the pen around the tablet, for reference on my
machine: event0 = keyboard, event1 = mouse ).
Please refer to
http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/testtablet and
make sure your tablet is driven by wacom driver. If not, you need to build
and install hid-core.c from linuxwacom.
