Where does one find wacom-tools if a Debian package (the only
reference thereto that I could find) isn't an option? I'm running
Slackware, so a slack package or source would be peachy.

The contents of my /dev/input are as follows:
crw------- 1 root root 13, 64 2007-01-01 15:42 event0
crw------- 1 root root 13, 65 2007-01-01 15:42 event1
crw------- 1 root root 13, 66 2007-01-01 15:42 event2
crw------- 1 root root 13, 67 2007-01-01 15:43 event3
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 13, 63 2007-01-01 15:21 mice
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 13, 32 2007-01-01 15:21 mouse0
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 13, 33 2007-01-01 15:21 mouse1
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 13, 34 2007-01-01 15:43 mouse2

...So I suspect that confirms what you mentioned, Phil.
