In my one experience using Photoshop (admittedly Photoshop 7, where you appear to have 8) in WINE, it just had the ends of the pen backward. The 'stylus' end (that is to linuxwacom) was the eraser, and the eraser was the pen. Quite inconvenient really, and I couldn't find a way around it.
