There are other reasons. We use the 'zine approach, where one
digest = an issue. The single daily deadline gives me time to
edit copy.
Also, we don't do chatter, so there are no quotes or even
commentary on another segment of our venture, for the most
part. This means less need for immediacy and the continuity
a chat list might require.
