I disagree.  I've gotten quite a bit of help and I don't administer the 
servers that my lists are on, in one case I don't even have list 
administrator telnet access, only email access.  I've just prefaced my 
requests for help with the appropriate background so that the people 
answering *know* what I can and can't do and can suggest appropriate solutions.
