Any notes would definitely help. They way that I envisioned using this, which just may not be as straight forward as I had hoped, is to have some code like this:
<cfif ntusergroup is "management">
Managers Links and code here
</cfif>
I just need the stuff that goes before it :-) I don't need to protect a certain directory of files. I just want the ability to show content based on which group they belong to.

Foutunatly, you dont have to rewrite anything. You dont have to make
EVERYONE log on to the intranet. All you need to do is add 1 file, the
application.cfm file in the directory that you want to protect. Only
the managers would have to log in. The only brick wall you would run
into is you have to have CF Enterprise edition... (the expensive one)
I will dig up my notes that I posted a few weeks ago on how to set up
the permissions for a particular application and post them if you are
interested.
