Another much simpler way would be to just create a database of the
usernames that are allowed to view this information.  If you dont have
WAY too many managers, or if the list doesnt change too much on a daily
basis, this would be a feesable solution too.

What I would probally do is:

<cfquery datasource="ahem" name="authroize">
SELECT Count(*)
FROM allowed_users
WHERE manager = #cgi.username#
</cfquery>


<cfif authorize.count is 1>
show output
</cfif>


I would like to apologize ahead of time in case the previous code is
useless, I know it is appropiate to test code before posting it, but my
server is kind of having problems atm.
