Oh yeah I know what you mean now. Remember infinite continue? ;-) Very very early on, I played as a Zaku in the mission corresponding to episode 1: Stand up, Gundam! Out of shear silliness I replay that mission tons to time to see if it's possible to kill Amuro (and how would the story progress with Amuro + Gundam dead?). IIRC, I tried again in Seattle, it's impossible to save Garma's life. I managed to score tons and tons of direct bazooka hits on Amuro and not only did he not die, he actually took NO DAMAGE. That proved to me many named characters (Amuro, Char etc) have their God-mode turned on to guarantee they can progress the pre-destined plotline. After that, I never even try to shoot at the Gods, just put my partner between me and them, and hold my nose till the end of the mission. > You never played VO in the arcade? Too bad. Fun game. Ahh... I had a temporary disconnect. But indeed I almost never played any arcade games. They were infested by youth gangs where I grew up (HK). > Basically, two sticks for the controls. Push both forward, you go Right, there's a real "piloting" component to the game. -- Dr. Core -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
