Looks excellent! Did you use any paint? How well does it hold together without glue?

Just finished snap-fitting my HGUC Gp02a...

I just used the stickers for now, as my schedule is a bit tight for painting. However, most parts that should be a different color are separate pieces, except for the vents.

The following are details that are covered by the stickers:

1) head vents are properly grilled
2) head guns are minutely detailed
3) the eyes, of course - but they're SMALL.
4) two small areas behind the knees that seem to have verniers
5) the red areas on the shield are actually depressed areas, like the MG
6) sensors on the left shoulder are detailed
7) the "02" sign on the left shoulder is depressed
8) small area toward the front of the knees
9) the circular chest grills
10) the yellow stripes on the thruster wings are raised

The three locking screws for the cockpit area are separate gray pieces - very small, I would suggest being very careful with them.

It holds very well without glue, but the weak points I see at this moment are:

1) the shoulder connectors for the thruster wings. The original connectors have ABS versions of polycap parts. Granted, that makes the connections stiff, but once the joints wear out, that'll be a problem. For this reason, I found the polycap material counterparts of the ABS connectors and used those instead. Yes, it makes for a more floppy situation, but in the long run it preserves the jointing.

2) the fist design is similar how 1/100 SEED kit fists are made - two halves, the finger/thumb area and the palm itself. Combined with how heavy the shield is, and I see a potential weak point, even if the hands are ABS material, too.

3) the neck is made of ABS material, but the head socket is the usual plastic. that'll be worn out easily, if played with a lot.

If the kit is treated as a kit and not as an action figure, this baby is damn good.
