The SD kits are great for building with the little ones.

I've found that with my son (3.5 years old) that MG kits take too long, and he 
loses interest.  The SD kits, and First Grade kits worked out well. Perhaps too 
well, since he's now asking to build them in the evenings.

On the OT, though...My wife accepts the Gundams in my office...but as a 
trade-off it all has to be neat and dusted regularly. It does look nice, I will 
have to post some photos of everything in place.

daughter, on the other hand, loves to help her daddy...

So far my daughter and I have built a SD Zapper Zaku and a SD Bound Doc in
Gates colors.
