My partner has developed a liking for SD Kits; he now has most of the Seed and Destiny SD's, and he has a rule that he only buys SD's with the cute legs, not the ones with feet only. He's currently saving up for the three-kit aqua mecha set, as he wants to own an SD Acguy. Actually, he wants me to buy the MG Acguy, too, so that we can have a little "baby monster".

That being said, he is also the voice of reason when he sees my eyes glaze over with excitement in a toy store, and is particularly effective when he knows i have the money to back up the glazed look. But yeah, he has a terrible weakness for cute SD's.

The SD kits are great for building with the little ones.

I've found that with my son (3.5 years old) that MG kits take too long, and he
loses interest. The SD kits, and First Grade kits worked out well. Perhaps too
well, since he's now asking to build them in the evenings.

On the OT, though...My wife accepts the Gundams in my office...but as a
trade-off it all has to be neat and dusted regularly. It does look nice, I will
have to post some photos of everything in place.
