Certainly, it is one of the best scripted storyline in a war setting. The story and character intertwined perfectly with reasoning that don't often seem absurd and all in all a great story.

I've never watched the whole thing before because I'm old fashioned and stick to (mostly) legal ways of doing things, but it does seem to be better than I'd heard. If you're a fan of the original SEED and you're not too sure, I'd try renting the first few discs of just getting ahold of the early parts of the series to see if you like it.
