Just purely from what you posted...

If neither is labeled MG, then neither is the MG. 1 is scratched by
HJ, the other by DH. What you see is what you get. The lack of
pricing says that the design isn't finalized (only 3 months from
release). It's quite likely Bandai is still hedging its bet on the
design. Perhaps you are right, a "rude" (and whiny) awakening is in
store. OTOH, perhaps like the Armageddon, if enough people believe
it, it will happen?

Its ironic how many people are focusing strictly on the Hobby Japan scratch
build as if to say that is the final release? I think a lot of people must
prefer that design to the actual Turn A Gundam design. It becomes even
odder when the Hobby Japan kit doesn't match ANY of the lineart in the
pictures behind it. While I wouldn't object to getting a kit based off of
the Hobby Japan styling, I'd still be interested in the original design.

If Bandai is hedging their bets on it, why even announce it? Actually it
makes sense the more I think about it. Since the Turn A is probably the
single riskiest Gundam design they can release make it an "EVENT" kit by
tying it in to the "100th MG RELEASE" fanfare to build up hype. Otherwise
it has a higher risk of tanking. The Victory Gundams are a less risky
design to release so they can release them at any time.
