Are they really that bisho-nen? I didn't get the feeling from them
besides the 3rd pilot actually possibly being female.. You can't really
call it animation on those portraits as well if we want to get
technical. But either way. I think people are over reacting on the wing
similarities. The mobile suits also seem quite abit more unique than the
SEED style suits. Slimmed down somewhat maybe we'll see more backpacks.
Just a personal opinion and everyone else is entitled to their own. Just
wish there was abit more explanation after given

It does for the look of them. He was merely commenting on the look of them
which can be seen in the teaser. They do look like Bishonen character
designs which the Wing character designs looked like too. He isn't
commenting on the personalities because he has no basis to judge them. If
this irritates you so much you may want to consider another hobby like
knitting.
