It looks nothing like anything else Zeon ever designed.

The same can be said for many, many other Zeon designs (and I don't necessarily agree in any event, as I think the shoulders and legs at the very least are on solid Zeon ground).

How's that for being out of place? What about its hit-and-run
philosophy, which seems against Zeon's idea of a well organized
army?

And is belied by the tactics they use over and over again (and frankly, any modern military outfit that *doesn't* employ hit and run tactics as necessary is run by a bunch of fools).
