Thanks for the report. What other interesting things did you see? Something (non-Gundam) that made your day? My interest in these con would be rare old kits/toys and on very rare occasions, limited edition goodies. But as time progress, both these prospects are diminishing so I end up still a con-virgin. BTW, it cost me $24 (after shipping) to get the X-wing from HLJ, a $4 saving doesn't even cover half of parking. So instead of Chicago, I took a modest trip to Houston Space Center. A very worthwhile experience. I tried to land the Space Shuttle 5 or 6 times and crashed every time (with no wind).
